Meme from
dollsome, in which I put my iPod on Shuffle and list the first twenty songs:
(Note: I have verryy old songs on my iPod because, well, I like those songs.)
1. "Music Sounds Better With You" - Big Time Rush
2. "Cowboy Casanova" - Carrie Underwood
3. "In Your Arms" - Kina Grannis
4. "Unfriend You" - Greyson Chance (UNABASHEDLY YO)
5. "Something in Me" - Katelyn Tarver (I downloaded this off my sister's iPod, and have never really heard it before, so this was a pleasant surpise, because ACOUSTIC)
6. "Today Was a Fairytale" - Taylor Swift (ugh, I want to shoot myself)
7. "Honey Bee" - Blake Shelton (MY FAVORITE SUMMER SONG NO LIE)
8. "Let the Rain" - Sara Bareilles (my ultimate girl crush, like, SO MUCH)
9. "Breakeven" (um, and I don't know who sings it, and it's not labeled on my iPod, because this is a song ripped from a YT video about Abby/Connor from Primeval and Eleven/Amy from DWho, which is a little funny, because this dates me to last year, when I shipped Eleven/Amy like crazy in the first three episodes of season 5 before beautiful, awesome Rory made his appearance)
10. "Higher Ground" - Red Hot Chili Peppers (from the Center Stage soundtrack)
11. "Give It Up" - Ariana Grande and Elizabeth Gillies
12. "No Good Deed" - Idina Menzel (from the Wicked Broadway soundtrack)
13. "The Dynamo of Volition" - Jason Mraz (I love this song more and more every time I listen to it)
14. "King of Anything" - Sara Bareilles
15. "It's Only Time" - Drake Bell
16. "Banana Pancakes" - Jack Johnson (the only thing I think when I hear this song, every time: it's James' chosen makeout song)
17. "According to You" - Orianthi
18. "Here We Go Again" - Demi Lovato
19. "He Won't Go" - Adele
20. "Guinevere" - MC Lars & YTCracker ft. K Flay (BEST. SONG. EVER. with the best
music video EVER for all you Merlin fans)
And here is what I did today:
Hung up Christmas lights all around my apartment, but since it's awkwardly shaped and there's a concrete block inexplicably placed in the kitchen (no, no, I do realize that that concrete block is holding up the foundation of my apartment building, but WHATEVER) so a whole picture of my apartment was...a little hard to do, excepting standing on my balcony and battle the ferocious winds to get a decent picture of my entire living room. Ah well.
Today was my school's "Dad's Day" football game against the University of Illinois, which meant that during halftime, the dads of the marching band all ran out onto the field and danced to, like, the Macarena and Twist and Shout and stuff, and then ended the whole routine by falling down onto the ground as if they were old men. It was awesome.
Freezing. But awesome.
And then my mommy met my roommates for next year, who are WONDERFUL and beautiful and sweet and friendly and all, unfortunately, very gay. Sigh. But hey, three gay boy besties are what every girl dreams of, amiright? (But, no, seriously, I'm a little anxious of how I'm going to be doing my LJ writing next year, because, um, I don't want one of them to walk up next to my computer and be like WUT ARE YOU DOING WRITING ABOUT BOY BAND BOYS WHO ARE BOYFRIENDS. Ha, or something to that extent.)
And now we're having chocolate and coffee while I try to procrastinate on homework and fic writing.
Please still love me, you all.
