Nick, you seem to have lost your mind. I respect your opinion, too but this time you are insane. It seems any movie with excessive musical liberty, such as Garden State, you seem to not enjoy. I liked it that at points Crowe decided to let the music tell the story rather than keep feeding us dialogue. And although Ryan did have song in the movie, I am not that biased, they did not effect my opinion much. The questions you ask are very irrelevant to the feeling of the story. The emotions were what counted in this movie, not the nit-picky plot points.

I was not moved one time in the film, not one. I kept a total open mind and I WANTED it to be good. I liked Garden State more. Garden State still had a story although the music was distracting. There was nothing in ELIZABETHTOWN for me to sink my teeth into. It deserves the harsh criticism it has gotten.

Well thanks alot Nick for ruining it for me, I've yet to see this movie, and I've wanted to since I grew up in E-town, but if it's that shitty thank God I didn't buy it, I guess I'll borrow it and see if it's that bad, but an insight on the "blue suit" maybe they used it 'cause that's U.K.'s colors? who knows...anyway, I haven't seen you in awhile and I'd like to have a copy of your latest cd, but how could I ever get one? I'm banned from WalMart (hangs my head in shame) for reasons that are not true. btw, how are you and Natalie doing? also, I'm jealous of you getting onstage with McCartney, you lucky devil!!!
