to all Boracay freaks:

Did y'all know that BORA is an Aboriginal term meaning initiation ceremony for boys? Well it does (see, this is the sort of thing you find out when you're stuck at home and waiting for November.) DO you know that people who call Boracay, Bora-Bora have no sense of geography? Cause Bora-Bora is actually a beach somewhere in Barbados. (I think Boracay is a Visayan word for something.) And they should just call Boracay as Boracay.

But nice trivia though. :)

weirdly, ive been on a Judith McNaught rewind the past couple of weeks too, my cousin reintroduced me to her books which i haven't read since highschool.. i read Until You and Whitney, My Love. Formulaic, yet still effective. I still laugh, cry and feel for the characters, hate 'em, love 'em.

*ooh watch Legend Of Zorro.. i didn't think i'd like this one because its a sequel, but it is nice and engaging. Not perfect, but it grows on you. I've fallen in love with Antonio Banderas as Zorro. And Zorro and Elena sort of reminded me of the male and female leads in some Judith McNaught books.

Let's go to Boracay. :D

zorro and elena...oo nga noh, parang matthew and meredith, or zack and julie...hahaha!

mas gusto ko actually yung mga contemporary novels ni judith( as contemporary as the late 80s-early 90s can get) compared sa mga the ones that are set in the olden times--although ang first favorite ko was "something wonderful".
