Well last night Steve and I realized because it would cost us over 4 grand to move into a private 2 Bedroom 1 bath rental in Stanhope we have no choice but to stay where we are. I don't know how the hell we are going to live in a 1 bedroom 736 square foot apartment especially with a baby coming in September and 2 cats on top of that.  OK the only

Actually that is what I was referring to but all may not be lost apparently the realtor that we are working with really wants to make this sale and apparently Steve wants the duplex just as much as I do so the Realtor is asking the Landlord if they would be willing to rent the place for 1000/month providing Steve and I agree to live there for at least 2 years and no less. I asked Steve even by some sheer miracle this happens we are still going to have to come up with first and last months rent, realtors fees and any other fee that may be attached in which case he said than we would ask our Father's for help. I am not holding my breath though the original asking price was 1250/month than the landlord went down to 1150 I doubt they'll go 1000 it really all depends on how much they want to get someone in there and start making money I mean right now because know one is in there they are obviously losing money

Good luck with it. It's usually expensive to move to a new apartment. Almost always they want a huge deposit and a month or two rent up front. If you like the apartment and the area I'd go for it, even $1150 is cheap for the size you're talking. My old apt in Garnerville was almost $1000/month back in 2001 and it was just a one-bedroom, and that was one of the cheapest in the area. Most places wanted $1100-1200 for a one bedroom back then.

Truthfully even if they don't accept the 1000 I am almost tempted to ask my Dad for help so we can get it for 1150 a month. I mean this place has 2 bedrooms, plenty of storage space, all utilities paid except electric (and of course our phones, cable and internet) AND a washer and dryer to boot it's too good not to try to go for it and Steve said he was going to try and get a 2nd job and not that it really matters but I started to sell things on eBay for a little extra money. You know it would be nice Steve and I get a place and you and Dave finally close on your old place :-)
