You find him on the edge of a canal, hanging his feet over the trickle of water winding through the bottom, flowing like thin syrup. His brown hair sticks out haphazardly from beneath a beanie, giving him the appearance of one who has seen enough to want to let it grow over his eyes and just keep growing.
