According to my radio controlled watch, big ben is 5 seconds slow. Or rather, his midnight chimes don't kick in until 5 seconds after midnight.

This is the first snow we've had in Wroxeter since last winter, wheeee..

Although, I must add that it's not a good idea to dance in it whilst wearing slippers on a chunk of concrete covered in a thick layer of ice underneath the snow.. one might perhaps fall on one's bottom :p

I went and 'stole' my sister's big crochet hook to try this hat pattern again.

Following the Cutie Pie Brimmed Hat pattern on crochetcabana.com I made an absolutely gorgeous hat this afternoon. It took me hours! Anyway.. the pattern said the hat would be suitable for a "small adult".

I don't know any "small adults" with a head circumference of about 2 inches. I think I need a bigger needle!

The comment system I coded for the articles on my website has been 'unprotected' for weeks, because I forgot to append WHERE approved='y' to the sql query, and yet I've received no spam.
