too hot to think straight, we are in athens and it is 39 degrees. yes mum i brought sunscreen.

dinner at elisabeth's was wonderful (stirfry!) and we watched notting hill (well they watched and i slept). and we hiked home. went to bed at around 12am and slept lik a log excepth when the crazy lady got up and started banging and shuffling. this morning i did my washing (after aaron and i got our wires crossed and couldn't find each other). took ( Read more... )

tour was great. one of those free ones that went for 4 hours. at the end you give them a tip, so technicaly its not free. but cool to see weird things and be told little snippets. camden was cool. i haven't really bought much - heading to oxford street tomorrow! we had a lunch stop in covent gardens and i went to david and goliath! so excited! got  ( Read more... )

after walking to the domestic terminal and taking the train to the international terminal we checked our bags in - no way are they leaving without us now!!! safe at last we had a smoothie and then went through customs & went to our gate. waited about 20 minutes and then boarded the plane. the flight consisted of a lot of discomfort, the astronaut ( Read more... )

flight to melb was cancelled, left launceston about 4 hours later than planned and missed international flight. spent the night in rainy sydney sharing a room with steve fitzallen (how fortuitous- 2x bunk and steve in the double!!). took angry pictures near landmarks and did some shopping, no spending, except on cheap food, steve sure knows how to ( Read more... )
