The scene was like any other movie scene.
He sits gloomily on one of the benches in the terminal, the one near the huge clock, stares at the rails which brought and stole back the heart that once was his.
He waits for no one, nothing. He just thinks he's waiting for someone but reality came munching him.
Not anymore, No more sunshine boy.
He stares at the clock which had been glaring at him as if asking him why he's still there. He replied by biting his nails like he usually does when he can't think of anything to do. He resort to doing something that he thinks relieves stress, biting his nails, as if every piece that he was able to cut off is a piece of agony that he feels. Biting it off, he thinks his sorrow would soon die down. However, he knows that even when he amputate his arm, the feeling remains the same so he just shifted his gaze back to the rails, maybe by staring he would think of something better to do with his life than just living in the past that would never come back.
When he got tired, he placed his hands on the bench and bowed his head. Staring at the ground which bears cracks that signifies age, he whispered;
Show Off.
Words from the hyung he met before lingers in his mind that certain moment in time. As if telling him that he was so wrong, he had always been wrong. That he should have at least listened.
With that thought, the kid in him surfaced, allowing his eyes to finally tear up. He doesn't do that. He doesn't cry, he refuses to let the world know that he can have those kind of feelings.
Hurt. Regret.
He closed his eyes for a second and the moment he opened it, he saw his own tear hit the ground, into those cracks. He watched the droplets take the shape of the cracks and thought how easy it was for water to adapt to it's new dwelling place.
He wishes he has a new heart to live in. He wishes his heart has a new dwelling place.
He was pulled back to reality when the sound of the train came in almost deafening him. He wiped his tears away and slowly lifted his head as he watch those eyes, full of eagerness to go out and finally go home. He watched them go out and be with the persons they love.
their parents.
their wife.
their husband.
their kids.
their friends.
their lovers.
he doesn't have one yesterday, today and the coming days. he should get used to it. Sun will shine no more in J's ville, besides that, he cannot even see the top of the mountain since he left even before sunshine did.
He smiled to himself and cursed under his breath, trying to stop himself from running away like a maniac.
"hey"
was the next thing he heard, picking him up from the mess he's into. That voice, that voice, he couldn't be mistaken. He knows that voice, the voice that could soothe his soul, the voice that could save him from depression, that voice which once told him that he loved him...
but all he did was turn his back because he thought he would be spending forever with sunshine.
The moment that their eyes met, he wasn't able to stop his own from tearing once again as he called out the name which he hopes would once again save his soul from deterioration.
"Choi Seung Hyun"
the older guy just gave out a smile that brightens up everything, including his heart.
Without thinking, he ran to envelope him in his arms, because that moment, with his presence, he knows he is saved.
the older didn't do anything but embrace the young boy back, thinking that whatever the reason is, he would still be the boy who is madly in love with this another boy and he would let no devil or no sunshine to take him away this time.
