Have you ever looked at a computer monitor with your eyes dialated? So weird. It's like the frequency of the monitor is too slow for your eye (you know, like in movies when the computer screen looks like it's flickering). And no, not on drugs. don't be depressed and pouty... only I'm supposed to be depressed and pouty :P I vote for lying about the party, how exactly are they to find out? You could always say that when you got there John had to cancel... but that would make the lie a bit complex... If you do lie I would just say that you went to Joshs and had fun and what not. Shouldn't be too bad. Sorry about leaving you, I feel bad. But I refuse to say home with ma rents. Victoria eh? hmm... yeah that would be kinda lame... go to Toms, have fun. Damn Josh!!! what's up with these iffy plans??? Makes me angry also. GRRRRR

Oh, yes. I talked to my mom today, and she said she would let me go, even if there isn't a party. No need for lying anymore. She said she was just giving me a hard time and that she didn't think that I'd interpret it the way I did. So, hooray for that. She said that she would never keep me away from Tom, and that she wants me to have fun. Yay for cool moms. Yeah, she told me that it's just really hard for her to let me go--understandable. So I will end up going anyway (so far as I understand it now). It was cool though, because if you weren't leaving and I was staying, my parents wanted to go to Victoria and they extended the invitation to you, so we could have gone to some clubs or something. That would have been neat. But alas, everyone has different plans than that, but it's all good. So yes, we should go see King Kong on Monday at 1:00, because I'm way too busy tomorrow. Sorry I didn't come over for food and all, but shopping was hell--the whole parking lot at Walmart was full. Frustration. I shall call you tomorrow ( ... )
