Got this e-mail from the Speech and Language Therapy department at Reading this morning:

Dear Jennie,

Thank you for your email, I apologise for the delay in replying.

Because the NHS pays the tuition fees of speech and language therapy
students, and there is also a means-tested NHS Bursary, the number of

Hey Jen,
Can you use the UCAS exta system which opens in May/June, it's for people who get all rejections from there uni's that they applied to in the first round.
Also you could go through clearing in August and perhaps find something?
Do you still see people from your old college? Would there careers/uni advisor talk to you? They might be able to help.

Thanks guys - sorry about the rant - was just a bit upset when I got the e-mail this morning. Have been talking to my Dad about it all, and although the course does sound interesting and I am still going to keep my options open, I think I only really went for it because I wanted to rush into something else and it seemed like the only option ( ... )

I really have nothing useful to say except that I hope you find something you really want to do- my sister has looked into play therapy a bit too (although I think she's now settled on movement therapy instead) and it looks really interesting :o)
