Oh, yah, here's a riddle I just remembered. I don't feel like drawing even an MS Paint version and posting it, tho, so you'll have to bear with my code [let me know if somehow you get weird breaks, I'll take a screen cap or something]:

To my left.

Reasoning: I don't see a door on this side of the bus. Thus, unless the new style of bus has the door at its front or rear, it's on the other side of the bus. Assuming U.S. driving rules, that would mean the door is at the front of the bus while stopping at the curb to pick up passengers. And since the right hand lane near the curb goes from right to left as 'forward' (since I'm looking at it from the bus' left side), when the bus moves forward, so too will it go to the left.

Of course, if this is a U.K. bus, the direction of forward goes left to right, so just reverse it if it's across the pond. :)

This is also what I came up with, so instead of asking, "Which country is the bus in?" I'll just crib Prismo's answer. =)
