So I'm guessing this is inadvertently turning into that paid vacation I didn't actually take but am being reimbursed =p I mean, I hate taking time off, since there's no guarantee I will stay on the job [and I certainly won't get a raise], but I'm too "big picture" to nitpick whether this will hurt me down the road more than maybe an inconvenience

I *should* be looking for a permanent position, but I just haven't been. The problem is I never built up the skills and experience to show any employer, "Look! I'm the second coming!" and there would be no question to my hireability. I'm not particularly better off than a fresh college graduate =/
Therefore, if I have 100 days I can work, with the option to cash out vacation later, the optimum payout will be working those 100 days and taking the cash. That's the sum of my reasoning. A permanent position would grant me better flexability, and I would snatch up vacation

Luckily, I haven't lost any *while temping* because I don't lose it until the contract expires. In practice, this may be never, but realistically I should use it as close to when I get it as possible--just to make sure. [I hate having to have that one extra thing always on my mind.]

I've liked both Doctors from the new series. Can hardly wait to see the latest doctor. *nodnod*
