Angle Lake, SeaTac - July 4, 2011
Originally my mom and Jim were supposed to come up for several days, but my mom wasn't able to get enough holiday leave, so I just spent the holiday weekend with Debbie and her family (and guests) at the house were I was renting my room.
I went out on the lake with Bailey (Debbie's daughter) and her friend on the neighbor's paddle-boat:
A lot of the houses on the lake had decoration contests, and some people even had various types of floating boats/crafts full of decoration:
The whole day had different events. At one time, there was a swimming race for the younger children:
Later, Rob (Debbie's husband) took me and Bunker (their Black purebred Lab) out on the lake again, this time in the motor boat:
And everyone had delicious BBQ hamburgers and hot dogs:
I was in charge of the strawberries; cutting them up, and adding a little sugar for glaze.
Sunset on the lake's very nice:
Flares set up by each house to get everyone out of the water to prepare for the fireworks over the lake.
Unfortunately, my camera ran out of battery, so no firework pics...
