At the end of last month, I put in my resume and cover letters for externships with a few divisions with the OCDA's Office, specifically for three locations: Felony Panel Unit, DNA Unit, and Central Justice Center

Unpaid externship, but experience sounds interesting. =)

Unfortunately, I'll be driving up from OC to LA tomorrow night, so I don't think I'll make it in time. ^^;;

how is an externship different than an internship?

At least for my school, externship is usually unpaid, and done for academic credit. Internship does not have to be for credit.
