Got home after midnight since my flight into LA was a late one...
Day 1
Woke up at 6am to head get to LACC by 8am. Parked in the convention center parking. Lined up for 1 hour for badge. Inside the South Tower Hall, people were waiting for the Exhibit Hall to open at 12pm. While we waited, there was this elaborate League of Legends character cosplayer (don't ask me, I don't know what it is) which someone said was called "Fiddlesticks".
Fiddlesticks
There was also a Korra cosplayer from Airbender: Legend of Korra, that I thought looked very nice. People kept stopping her to take her pictures, so I offered to watch her bag and such. I also shared a McMuffin with her since I had a few in a bag.
Korra
Coincidentally ran into Yuu (
keep_your_style) with half her KH Soras. =)
Once I got into the Exhibit Hall, I went to meet Ah-Yung at the booth she was working at, then went to
xinester's table, which happened to be straight back from Ah-Yung's location. I helped her with untangling necklaces and then selling. She treated me to ice cream~ ♥ Saw these 3 while helping out at her table:
Kaoru, Sentarou and Ritsuko from Sakamichi no Apollon
Afterwards, I went around Aisles A-C of Artist Alley, bought KL's (
milk_of_lime) AnoHana print (finally got my hands on it!), and two of another artist's Tsuritama prints. Also went to visit @LavenderIce,
gem2niki, Angie (
charmwitch), Kura (
kurafufu), and Ku (
kurot). I managed to find 2 Ib cosplayers: a Lady in Red and a Garry (Ah-Yung's friend Miso).
Lady in Red
Garry
Alibaba from Magi outside the Exhibit Hall
Later, met up with Ayli (
xaevyn), Shiro (
shiroro), Mako (
tokiyoh), Ku, KL and Diane (
hestia217) and others for dinner. We had yakiniku!
Then took KL and Ku to stock up on food. =)
Day 2
Originally, I was planning to go to Madhouse autograph session at 10:30am, but decided to take my time getting dressed and made up for my Ib cosplay. (Mom commented and said I looked 12-13, and Jim said... 9. XD;)
So, I got to con around 10:30am, went to the Exhibit Hall to see Ah-Yung and her friend Miso who dressed as Garry again. I went around with Miso for a little while, and surprisingly people recognized us. =D We were stopped mostly by girls (though there were some guys, too). I also took a few pics of my own, either by timer of by having Miso pose. XD

I parted with Miso as she went back to work, then I went around Artist Alley again and saw Christine (
torrentialrain), Alex (
o_8), Minh, Han-Yee (
peroxidepest17) and Kelly and Lorena (at the Teahouse Exhibit booth).
Artists in the Artist Alley dressed as Alibaba, Aladdin and Sinbad from Magi
Eventually met up and walked around with Tracy in the same area. Finally, I had to get out of my cosplay, so I went to change into regular clothes. This time I arranged to meet with Yuu, at which point I delivered an omiyage I got her from Fanime. She and her friends were in D.Gray-man cosplay.
Kanda, Allen and Rhode
Ririchiyo and Karuta from Inu x Boku SS
Alibaba and Aladdin from Magi
Decided to head out early, drove down to Irvine and to find stuff for the Madhouse autographs on Day 3.
Day 3
Got to con at 8am, and got in line for what I thought was the Madhouse panel line. Only, it turned out to be the Production I.G line. That would explain why they had a Kuroko no Basuke poster up on the wall...
The staffers soon created second line for Madhouse, and I ended up as first person in line. XD I vaguely saw Fawn (
fawnfawn) in the hall but she disappeared before I could say hi. The line ended up being pretty significant, and the room was nicely filled. I sat in the 3rd row, behind the press and industry people.
Nice view of the guests. =)
The girl I was sitting next to was cosplaying as formal wear Chihaya.
She got her picture taken by Asaka-san, and earlier while we were waiting together in line before the panel, she got interviewed by NHK World. I ended up doing some interpreting for her with the staff before the English reporter was there for the filming part.
Half the questions at the panel were about Card Captor Sakura and Nana, then also things about Chiyafuru season 2 and how they choose to animate the karuta scenes.
I spy a Kero-chan in the audience!
The autograph session for the Madhouse guests was split into two sign and sketch lines. I got my CCS box signed by Hamada-san and Asaka-san (who remembered me a little from the last time I met him).
Hamada-san signing the CCS box
Asaka-san sighing the CCS box
Tsunoki-san signing a 5x7 stretched painting canvas because I had no shikishi... lol
I had debated wearing my Kimimaro cosplay from [C]: The Money of Soul and Possibility Control, but decided against it since I would have had to go up to Asaka-san in crossplay... XD;; BUT! AHHH, I saw these two and somewhat regretted not wearing Kimimaro:
Mysu (Kimimaro's Asset) and Q (Mikuni's Asset)
I hung out with the Staff Resources staffer that was cosplaying as formal wear Chihaya for a while, and then I went around to say my byes to people. Got to see
gem2niki and
lucathia_rykatu in their SKET Dance cosplay.
Bossun
Himeko and Bossun
Found Dina (creator of the "Mission Trance" and "Pandect" webcomics)!
Haven't cross paths with her in 5 years! We kept talking in Canto the last time we saw each other as a code language for getting rid of a creeper in the Artist Alley back in 2007. XD;;
Then, took Tracy (
sinstera) to little Tokyo and had late lunch at Chin-Ma-Ya.
Hiyashi-chuuka because it was hot outside
