FINISHED SERIES/SEASON:
Accel World
The novelty of the show wore of, and for a while I let it queue up without watching it. But overall, it wasn't too bad. It probably could have been a little shorter... I'm also not sure how I felt about how the last episode was wrapped up with a voice-over that made it like a life lesson.
My favorite part wasn't even really about this show. XD; It was when they referenced the Nerve Gear from the Sword Art Online universe.
Hyouka
By far, this was my favorite for the season. The animation and colors! I'm sad though that they did not continue to use other classical pieces of music like they did in the first episode. Oreki's personality was my favorite, though, it was nice to be able to see character development over the episodes. It wasn't too fast, but gradual.
Kuroko no Basuke
I also got over this somewhere in the middle. But I still find Tetsuya #2 so cute! Thing about sports series is that they draw out the games/matches... Some episodes had amazing animation though, like the one where even the sweat was moving around the screen fluidly, lol.
Natsuyuki Rendezvous
Every ep felt like a train wreck, the love "triangle"... While I watched it every week, I dreaded that something worse would happen. A lot of bittersweet and regretful feelings. Luckily, it ended the way it did. It's definitely different.
Tari Tari
This one was nice. Singing, development of the group, I liked how they went beyond graduation a little at the end. =)
Area no Kishi
What ever happened about that photographer? They didn't really develop that. Feels like in the last 10 or so episodes, they stopped including Suguru in much of the episodes. I wonder if that was intentional. I think I kind of liked this one more in the beginning, too, but then just fell into the flow with it. This was another one that I let queue up for a bit before starting up again.
Binbougami ga!
I wasn't even going to watch this one originally, until I hear Uchiyama was in it. By then it was already more than halfway into the show. But I caught up and watched the rest of the way through. Despite all the parodies they throw in (and so many!), this one was nice, too. My favorite story part was when Ichiko was transformed into her younger self. Also, the OP and ED are very catchy. =P
SKET Dance
Never know what to expect with this one. It's probably the longest show that I've watched, too.
Continuing Series:
Sword Art Online
Looking forward to the Alfheim Online arc! Fairies~ XD
Hunter X Hunter
Kokoro Connect
2012 Fall Anime - Plan to Watch:
Monday
Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun (10/01)
Yoshi got me into this manga. It'll be nice to see this one animated. Shizuku~ Haru~ =)
Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo (10/08)
Different. Maybe?
Thursday
Btooom! (10/04)
Probably because I watched SAO and Accel World, the mention of online game kind of makes me wonder what this one will be about.
K (10/04)
This one is so mysterious... I'm sure that's how they played up publicity and curiosity, and to be honest, it's working. XD
Zetsuen no Tempest (10/04)
Will this be one with a savior/hero emerging to save the world on the brink or destruction or will it not be so cliche? XD;
Pyscho-Pass (10/11)
Curious about this one as well. It's also a Noitamina title, meaning I'm likely to be more inclined to like it. XD; (as Diane has pointed out that I really like Noitamina titles..)
Robotics;Notes (10/11)
Almost forgot about this! The PV looked interesting. Also, another Noitamina title. XD
Friday
Shin Sekai Yori (9/28)
Sounds like it has the potential to get dark. Once in a while, I like those kinds of shows.
Saturday
Bakuman. 3 (10/06)
The long awaited Perfect Crime Party arc! ♥
CODE:BREAKER (10/06)
A dark protagonist. This may be interesting.
Sukitte Ii na yo. (10/06)
Shoujo series. Need a dose of that, too.
Sunday
Magi (10/07)
The long wait... is finally over! Another series that Yoshi got me into just as it was starting out (only two volumes had been published at the time). I'm amazed it got so far. =D Looking forward to this, I want to see Aladdin, Alibaba and Morigana together! XD
Ixion Saga DT (10/07)
I may or may not get turned off this really quickly. I'm not sure yet. Curious, so giving it a try.
That makes 12 series for the new season, and 3 from the previous season, though those 3 will be over mid-way. And chances are I might drop a couple, so we'll have to see how many I end up with. XD
