In regards to urban exploration in Florida try Tallahassee, FL and the surrounding towns. It really seems more like a part of southern Georgia then North Florida. Lots of abandoned buildings and places time forgot: 6 story Sunnyland with easy roof access, the concrete quarry covered in amazing graffiti, the abandoned water treatment facility, and the (now defunct) government-funded self sustaining hippie neighborhood project.

I miss canopy roads, driving and hitting one of thirty county parks, and running around on rooftops. I miss the area.
