it just seems too depressing, too pathetic...
too smelly

besides, im against any type of volunteer work in general; its the principle of it :)

I think you need to educate yourself a little better.

I'm hoping to work with the adoption process, I think the interactions will benefit my sociology stuff and maybe open some doors. It would probably put me on location for adoption days.

And many, many, many non profit organizations are run on volunteer power. With out them.. the would would NOT be as nice of a place.
