I recently got gmail, which has been treating me quite well (I can actually spend more than 30 min writing an email and don't have to worry about making a draft AND it saves automatically about every 2 min- beautiful!) That is more than a bit creepy.

My creepy e-mail story: I keep getting spam addressed to my mom. At an e-mail address she doesn't even use for me, much less give out. Somehow the spammers were able to connect me and my mom without either of us telling them. Creepy.

P.S. I have to wonder what ads gmail would put up for my e-mails with Fr. Tom. Both the subject line and the content for those are always quite random. Maybe an ad for St. John of the Cross's Dark Night of the Soul?

I've found some really cool stuff with those little adds! It is interesting what they bring up sometimes. . .
