Where did you begin 2008?
My living room floor, drinking and playing Mario Party and doping the cats up on catnip!
What was your status on Valentine's Day?
On hold.
Were you in school any time this year?
Does mandatory training at work count?
Did you have to go to the hospital?
Drove my friends there, but I didn't have to go for myself.
Did you have any encounters with the police?
If Haz-Mat showing up because of a "suspicious substance" in an envelope at work counts, yes.
Where did you go on vacation?
Oceanside, CA.
What did you purchase that was over $100?
2001 Subaru Forester, coffee table and end tables, couch, guitar and accessories
Did you know anybody who got married?
Yup!
Did you know anybody who passed away?
Yes.
Did you move anywhere?
Not yet, but I'm looking to buy a house here in the next 4-6 months.
What sporting events did you attend?
None.
What concerts/shows did you go to?
Toad the Wet Sprocket.
Describe your birthday.
The sun came up. It went down again. I woke up somewhere in between and ate and drank. Wasn't really memorable.
What is the one thing you thought you would not do, but did, in 2008?
Get called "girlfriend".
What have been your favorite moment(s)?
Being called "girlfriend".
Calling the power company to see if there'd been a billing error when they gave my deposit back.
Seeing the look of bewilderment on my brother's face at his surprise "Yay for two degrees!" party.
Any new additions to your family?
Depends on how you define "family".

August.
Who has been your best drinking buddy?
My boyfriend, I guess?
Made new friends?
Yay, friends!
Other than home, where did you spend most of your time?
Work...blegh.
Have you lost any friends this year?
I've lost track of some...
Change your hairstyle?
First, because of a pinched nerve in my neck after my car accident (losing 5lbs of dry-weight hair was such a relief!), and the last few times because I can't sit still with the same haircut any more for too long.
Have any car accidents?
Yes. I don't recommend getting in one while on the clock--ever. I'm still waiting for my settlement. And for the economy to get well enough that I actually have free time and can start practicing that guitar I got three weeks before I was T-Boned by the Scarecrow as he was pulling out of a collision center parking lot. But, hey, I got a Subaru!
Do you have a New Years resolution?
To find happiness in the things I know have it hidden away somewhere, to trust myself and others more, and to go horseback riding finally!

Buy anything new from eBay?
The Highlander complete TV series.

Haha, no. I'm too boring!

Yes. Stupid cold.
