I almost cried while filling out my ballot today, and not, as I'd originally feared I might, from anger and frustration at the lack of good candidate choices in some of the races. Let's just say I exercised my right to opt for the "none" half of "vote for none or one" in more than a few races.

After voting today, I resolved to be prepared with a good list of write-in candidates next year...

Would that we could all find the means to run for public office in the prime of our lives...I think that's what it's going to take. Time to get dirty playing this game...
