My sister just realised that getting rid of the old Xbox at Christmas (actually, it isn't gone, just in storage since EB wouldn't accept it as a trade) meant that she has to start over at Eternal Sonata. XD I'm kind of surprised that revelation didn't happen sooner, considering we traded stuff for the upgraded Xboxes at Christmas. :D

It's a wonderful idea in theory, I used to think to myself that at some point in the distant future, folks would look back at how technology had been at our time, staring at the ridiculous tangles of wires behind our desks or what have you, wireless seems much smarter.
but in practice I find there are often problems that I can't figure out, everything is set up the way it should work, but IP configuration or what have you, but still no connection, or weak connection, or whatever, and you sit there having no idea how to fix it.
I still prefer wired inet, though I've boldly moved on to a wireless mouse (this was back during my gaming days when I got sick of the drag of the mouse cord across my desk, all slowing me down when I needed to raid healz0r).

I have a wired mouse for my laptop, but only use it if my laptop's on a table. Wireless internet is kind of essential here since most of us have laptops and the gaming consoles use internet as well.
I confirmed that my sister's room is an internet blind spot this afternoon, since my wireless Xbox adapter with the two aerials did nothing. I'll have to find out if it's possible to boost the router's signal somehow.
I'm the household techie, so stuff like computer/internet/TV/DVD/gaming problems is left to me. It's both nice and annoying at the same time, especially when a computer gets a virus because no anti-virus or firewall has been installed. Surely that's "Internet Use 101" material, right? :D
