here in the UK.
Not 15 minutes ago.
we had an earthquake.
A FUCKING EARTHQUAKE >.<
An earthquake strong enough to rock me awake.
An earthquake long enough to freak me the hell out.

i'm still shaking and feel like i'm about to throw up.
yay for adrenaline aggrivating my stomach >.<

*EDIT* it was a 5.3 sited in north lincolnshire see here

What you have to bear in mind is that we don't really get earthquakes here in the UK. At all. As such, buildings aren't really built to withstand them.

Yeah, you are on the "old" continent and the buildings are corroded by the constent humidity of your land. :D ... and we get them rarely too here as well. :

i'll try and bring all the excitement of an earthquake with me this weekend
though with those busses stopping outside the house you don't NEED an earthquake

busses are meant to get you from one place to another. not move the house from one place to another via vibration o.O

i really did think it was an earthquake when i was first there
