CNC Stands for Computer Numerical Control

examples of this would be robotic arms, engraving machines, milling machines, 3d printers and if push comes to shove a PC printer can be called a CNC machine

basic definition is a machine that can be fed numerical data in co-ordinate form. thus makingrepeating patterns easy. isis what the first machines were for. but now they are used as prototyping machines and full production line machines.

call mine a CNC machine as it's a general catch all.sometime in the future i'm hoping to outfit it with an array of tooling so it's a catch all thing
