Sometimes when I leave my computer and come back, it has turned itself off. Then, I will turn it back on and it will say that is has just recovered from a serious error. I run my virus scanner and it never detects any viruses, etc. What is going on?! This is really upsetting. This never used to happed until the last month or so.

welcome to my everyday life. Sounds to me like your computer hates you, just as mine hates me. It's probably spyware...or some crap. I took mine to get fixed over spring break and it didn't help.

probably windows problems.. programs or windows writing into restricted memory. i dont really know what else you would do in this case except reinstall windows
