I'd imagine all sorts. It doesn't change the base of this situation, which is that the driver did something wrong.

After reading some of the things they get complaints about, I'd let it go. But it is your kid, so you should do what you think is best. Don't get sucked down into a dark place because of it, though.

Hi - a mutual friend of ours mentioned your situation to me - I'm dealing, right now, with self-righteous moms at my kids' public school in an area that's about as Jewish as Manhattan. For the second year in a row, they're doing a Christmas Tree "Holiday Tree" sale in the middle of the courtyard every morning - and they have a display tree, for "marketing purposes". The principal is fine with it since the president of the group doing the sales is Jewish, and yeah, you know everything else. (I've friended you so you can read my post about it from earlier today if you're interested, but I completely understand if not ( ... )

Hello! Nice to meet you! I saw your post, and it really astounds me how clueless and insensitive some people can be! I agree that the tree needs to be moved. I don't think it is necessary for marketing.

Thank you for your support. It means a lot to feel like I am not alone, even though I do wish that mine was just an isolated incident.

I'm planning to begin with our local city council rep, as he has shown to really care about the schoolchildren and has already gotten involved in other issues regarding the department of pupil transportation.
