Hmmm... let's put this where I'd intended it to be! *grins*

*dances around excitedly* I got the update from AO3 in perfect time to read it on my phone during the slow last hour of work. Now to reread it again from the comfort of my computer chair so I make sure I don't miss anything!

Sadly, that last slow hour of work is the only good thing about my job. I usually spend it in paperwork (which is a glorious way to spend an hour, IMHO) but pulled out my phone instead!

I really really like Fury's doubt.

It's not often that Fury second guesses himself, and other than his personal taste in Barton, he's never doubted Coulson. But he'd ordered him to go to his gear closet and load his old M9, and he'd listened to him try to keep his shit together on the other end of the line, and now he's wondering.

This... is so.... perfect! It's so succinct, and yet so so full of history and meaning and.... stuff! <-- isn't explaining it well.

And I like that NYC and.. y'know... everyone in the story, is in danger from Loki'd!Clint. It's ominous.... in an exciting way.

Well, more's up now, though as far as getting better goes... um...

Yeah, Fury and Coulson go way back. There needs to be more fic (and comics, but at least the new 52's been handling that) where we see them back in the day. Most definitely.
