So, this is the first tDKR fiction I've read... in fact, it's probably the first DC-verse fiction I've read. And thank you for not disappointing. I wasn't expecting to ship Bruce/John, but I liked this. Your writing is superb, I love where John's life is at this point, your post-Bane Gotham, and the setting of the Batcave. Everything is just so fitting! I like John holding on to his resentment toward Gordon too. And this line: His only advice had been to wear a mask, because apparently he'd thought John had people worth worrying about. The notion had been flattering, if laughable.
That tipped this over the edge into an instant fav of mine. Excellent writing, I look forward to reading more of yours :)
