Yay Spencer! 9 months is supposed to be one of those crucial developmental spurt times.
One thing I'd say, though I was horrible at it, is to try as much as possible to not compare the two. I kept expecting R. to do certain things at certain times like Mac had, and, well, they're very different boys on many different axes. I wasted a lot of time worrying when R didn't hit milestones at the same time Mac did, and it may be harder for you, since Jack has been so precocious in so many ways.
It's wonderful sometimes realizing that even when you input the same two sets of genes (more or less, obviously) and a very similar parenting environment, you still get very distinct people - look at outlawradio's twins!
Yay for Spencer becoming more person-like; I hope I get a chance to meet him sometime soon. (SR Reunion? Our 10th anniversary party?)
