I feel boring all the time. That's because I am boring. I've moved into a life where I come home from work, do the necessary and go to sleep. I'm usually asleep before 9. I'm not sure why boring has to suck.
I wish you didn't feel so alone. I wish I could show you that you're not. I'm always here. Even though here is miles away.
The worst part about being boring for me is hearing about the people I might be interested in dating and they're always like 'As long as whoever it is isn't boring I'd go out with them.' That's depressing.
On the other hand, I'm quite content with my DVDs, writing and geek-tastic hobbies. Feeling alone happens to everyone. When you feel boring you often feel like its your fault. Your mind transfers that feeling of guilt into loneliness because you feel that something's missing. In reality you're probably just bored and unconsciously thinking that if someone was there to fill the void, the boredom would pass.
Hey! Ben mentioned that he'd recently conversed with you. My thoughts on being boring, beyond it being a Pet Shop Boys song, since you asked: I don't think stability and boredom have to be inextricably linked. In order to attack boredom, one has to be passionate about something (your choice). And in order to be passionate about something one has to invest oneself in that something. Of course, we all have ups & downs (I blame Taoism for this!). But, overall, I don't think that things have to be so bad.

Psychology has ruined my nigh-spiritual life.
