It's been 3 nights since my "incident" with a speeding car. Right now I look like I have a lion mask on, My face is super swollen especially around my eyes. The lids, my left cheek and under my eyes are stretching my skin to transparency. Both of my eyes have been partially closed all day. Lars and I thought that I might be having an allergic

I'm so glad you can turn the door handle now! I really couldn't bear the though of you unable to even open doors for yourself. You are a wonderful and courageous person and I wish I could be in LA to give you a big hug. I can't believe you and Lars have had to go to so much extra trouble because of the incompetence and hostility of the police. Well, I unfortunately can believe it, but it's shocking every time the LAPD behave so badly. But what's so inspiring is that they aren't going to get away with it this time thanks to so many people phoning and responding. You are an amazing person Jen! Xoxoxox, Catherine.

I'm a bit shocked... Just got the news and it's already Wed- Boy have I been out of the loop! Can't believe a lady got run over in her own home, but I remember fondly the photograph of the asteroid injuring some other poor woman in her own bed which I used to look at all the time up at Griffith Observatory.
EEkS, i'm just glad yr OK. Another one for the story book. Let me know if you need anything!
