My babies are already growing up

I just ordered a second convertible car seat for them. Infant carseats are going bye-bye after it arrives. We realized on our car trip today that they are just too big for those seats. They are definitely not as comfy as they could be, and they're probably within millimeters of being too tall for them.

Man, time goes by fast!

Yeah, Miles was already 28" at his last checkup a month ago and Simon wasn't far behind. I have a feeling they're close to, if not over, the 29" limit!

It's good and bad. We had to move Sam out at about 6 or 7 months just because he weighed so freakin' much we couldn't carry him. What sucked was that when he fell asleep in the car, we couldn't just carry him in the house anymore (and successfully keep him asleep- I think that happened once. But yeah, he was MUCH more comfortable and more happy.

Exactly what I was thinking. I can hardly carry either of them in the seats now (and they're barely 17 lbs), but it's so nice to just be able to transfer the whole seat when they're sleeping, especially when I need to take them into the stores or something.
