As expected, my Mom's surgery went well yesterday. My Dad didn't call me quite as often as I would have liked, but I figured that he had enough on his plate, so I didn't bug him about it. That's a relief, and I'm glad you'll get to spend time with them over the holiday, even if it is convalescence time, which I know can be a little stressful. :)
