This is my Christmas piece for my cards this year. I had a heck of a time getting the dress to look the right shade of red on my compy...this is about as close as it's going to get.

Thanks so much Deanna!! I always seem to use the same colors for my Christmas pieces, so I tried to use different ones this year. :P

Looks AWESOME Dawn! But it reminds me - last year I had a funny Christmas story I wanted to tell you, and I recorded a video blog, but it went all corrupted and so you never got to hear it. Right! I'm typing it out tonight!!!

From sketch to done...a week and a half? Usually not much time a day, but Sunday I painted FOREVER. LOL

AWW that is too cool! LOL You painted it really well too, they can be quite awkward :)

I was at a loss as to how to do the light emanating from it. Then I remembered both you and Mary doing it, so I looked at your art!! I almost did the swirly effect like Leap of Faith, but decided to go with something like Morgaine of the Faeries!!!

I can't wait to see your new painting. ^^
