Even though you are splitting up V&O (temporarily, one trusts), I love this chapter because it is so psychologically astute and elegantly written. I adore the whole story, to be honest.
A personal foible is that I don't like to see Orlando written as needy (except temporarily for a bit of h/c) so I'm happy to read that you are going to let him mark out his territory (sticking with the cat theme...).
Speaking of cats, I'm having trouble typing this as mine is on my lap with her head on my wrist!

My cat does that too! She's a shocker for pinning my 'mouse arm' down. I can have my left arm doing nothing, but that's not the one she wants to lean on. *rolleyes* Gods forbid she should make anything easy for me. :P
I have to agree with you about Orlando being portrayed as needy. Its one of my pet hates too. When you look at his life and what he'd done and been through, you can see how strong a person he is. Portraying him as the helpless "damsel" is just wrong, hence the next arc in the story!
I'm really glad you enjoyed this, and I can't thank you enough for the wonderful things you said! Hope you like the next part as much!
God, Viggo so much needed someone to tell him what would be the best thing to do. I'm sure Orlando doesn't see it that way, but right now Viggo needs some distance between them/
I love the last bit with Sean getting on the bed with Viggo. Makes me want a Beanie lion to keep me warm at night! ;)
I think they're right. Orlando needs to become independent and then Viggo can move forward too. It wouldn't be healthy for them to start anything right now. But I hope they don't leave it too long and they do get back together soon when their personal lives are a bit more settled.
I feel like that has been a crap comment for such an insightful chapter and what is probably going to be the turning point in the romantic side of the story. Forgive me?
Not a crap comment, trust me. Thank you so much for what you said, you are very much forgiven. (err... sorry... really bad grammer there).
You're right that starting something between them now would be unhealthy and dangerous, its certainly what neither of them needs. As for how long it will be before they get themselves in order... not telling! *evil cackle*
Never expected Viggo to leave to solve his problem but Sean's logic makes sense. I hope Sean realizes that he and Ian are going to have to deal with Orlando after Viggo leaves and Orlando is not going to take it well. I wonder if Orlando was able to verbalize what made him panic? Sean and Viggo cat-cuddling is just so damn cute.

On a more serious note... LOL
You're right about Viggo, he really did need a shove in the right direction. You're also right about Orlando... he isn't gonna be happy! LOL!
Thanks for the comment hun!

I'm not sure Orli even knows he has a crush on Viggo. I don't think he's going to be too happy when Viggo leaves for LA.
Another great chapter.
