This is amazing! I really enjoy your writing style, it's excellent. I think you've wonderfully captured the boys' personalities. The meeting with Nigel and Gary's realisation was so intense! It's quite interesting to think how one person can turn four grown up men back into the boys they once were. This makes me wonder, if TT from today met Nigel again, would they still revert back into their old 'roles

Thank you so much for this wonderful comment. I'm so glad you feel I portrayed the characters well, and that you enjoy my writing. trust me that's what every writer wants to hear! lol.
I too think Gary is a far more pleasant person these days, and his sense of humour has me in stitches. I know some people don't get him, but he's right on my wave length.
Interesting point about Nigel. I hadn't actually thought what would happen if the boys got in a room with Nigel nowadays... somehow I doubt the conversation would be pleasant. Nigel certainly hasn't been discreet with his criticism of them in the last couple of years. Good thing no-one actually cares what he thinks! lol.
Thank you again, so so much for your comment. Hope you continue to enjoy the series.
Well, thank *you* for writing this. It's always nice to read fics about your fave fandom/pairing/person, but it's even better when the writer is actually good at what she does. That makes the reading experience pleasurable and makes me stick to the stories. Plus, the boys being in character is so so important, it has to feel like you're actually reading about *them* and not just some random people who have their names ;)
Gary's humour is exactly how I like it, a bit sarcastic and not too obvious ;)
The boys in the same room with Nigel. After all that they've achieved this time around, as a four/five, I'd be surprised if they'd just let him walk all over them. Or it could be that they simply wouldn't care, it's all in the past and they've moved on.
I really love how you turned that particular bit of My Take into a fic :) It's one of the many revelations about TT that really shook me up, because back then we never saw any of that but now it all seems kinda obvious. Oh, and I always love angst :)
I know what you mean. This part of My Take was amazing to read, and I think was probably one of the most telling about Gary himself in the whole book. And you're right, it does seem kinda obvious now, but we were all clueless weren't we?
Thanks for the comment hun. I hope you enjoy the next part.
I loved this part just as much as the first, and the fact that it was so different in tone just added to my interest. One thing I particularly loved was that you touched on Mark's victimization back in the 90s, and how you allowed him the strength of will that I feel he has today. That is something I appreciate endlessly; words can't really do it justice. I have noticed that Mark is one of those people that is often "the damsel in distress", for lack of a better term, in fanfic, and although I appreciate many of the stories written for these two, I just don't think that's fair to him. I hate to see Mark portrayed as such a victim, because I see a lot of strength in him, and a sort of unexpected leadership. I don't think he's as weak as people like to think. He may be a small guy but that is no measure of strength, neither physically or emotionally

God, Your comments are so good for my ego, you know that? *preens* LOL.
Thank you so much for your amazingly detailed feedback. I love it, but I love that you're enjoying the stories even more.
I'm also glad that you enjoyed the exploration of the juxtaposition of past and present in this fic, and that you feel I dealt with it fairly. I completely agree with you on the Mark as a victim issue, and its something I'm trying very hard to avoid, because its not the way I see him at all. I hate to see either of them portrayed in extremes to be honest. They're such complicated layered people, who have lived such rich lives, that it rankles me when that depth is ignored in order to fit them into simple narrative roles.
OK, Now I'm the one boring everyone to tears lol. I'll leave it there.
Thanks again for the comment hunny. Hope you continue to enjoy the story.
