Very enjoyable chapter! I like how you weaved together all the strands together to lead to Ianto manning the tourist shop. Susie's gruff practicality is a nice progression from what little we know about her from the show. It also adds a great dynamic to the team, especially in her interactions with Jack. He might not always like her methods or solutions, but he has a respect for her ability to sort through things and find a realistic solution. Her interaction with the others is really interesting to observe, especially through each of their eyes. You are really doing a marvelous job shedding new light into the enigmatic character

Suzie's interactions with Jack are really crucial to the universe I'm building here. I've said it before, but I've always beleived Jack liked and trusted Suzie before the events of "Everything Changes" and I wanted to bring that out, show the side of Suzie we never really got to see, and show the team dynamic we never got to see.
As for Ianto, he's a mess of conflict right now and that's rather fun to write! And everything is new so each time we might see something that seems very "in character" for one of the others, for him its something he's experiencing for the first time and trying to get a handle on. Again, stupidly fun to write.

I agree with the previous comments in that it's nice to get to see parts of Suzie's personality we weren't shown on the show. It makes it much more interesting when we're privy to the inner thoughts and feelings of the different team members, and to how the rest of them interpret what they see and hear from each of them.
I think Suzie's deviousness in dealing with Ianto is hilarious. Jack doesn't seem to have a clue as to what she's up to when she's fixing Ianto up to run the tourist office. She obviously knows Jack's tastes well if she knew what suit to put Ianto into to get his attention, but I think it probably just served to scare the hell out of Ianto even more when he caught Jack's look. Look out Ianto when Jack eventually realizes he's attracted to him.
I never thought of Suzie's interaction with Jack as hilarious, but now that I think about it it is rather funny!!
As for Jack... well, he's not quite done thinking of Ianto as "threat" just yet, but time will tell! You're right though, that side of Jack isn't one Ianto is ready for!
