Neither of my teams are doing anything today until the volleyball game tonight at 7, I've already done all the admin stuff I need to do, and now I'm bored. My supervisor has a connection at the Colonial Center, the biggest concert venue in Columbia. This guy I guess works in PR and gets several comp. tickets for everything they have there. So if there's something coming I wanna see I just ask Dennis and he asks his guy. Takes a while to get the tickets though. Like now it's Friday and the concert is this Sunday and I still don't have the tickets in hand. But yeah sot that's how I get hooked up, pretty sweet deal huh?

I know its not the right entry but why did u have to spine board a athlete? Cervical injury? I got to spine board a athlete, but it doesn't really count. It was a tib/fib fracture during a JV football game at University and the Ambl. wasn't there yet so we moved him off to the sidelines. So I guess it doesn't really count but it was still the first time I called 911 and hopefully the last.

Last Saturday about 3 hours before our football game one of my cheerleaders fell backwards off a stunt and her spot didn't catch her. She landed in forward cervical flexion, directly on the C7 prominance. She had tingling into all extremities but no paralysis or numbness. To be safe we boarded her and sent her to the ER. Her X-rays were negative thank God and she was back to performing on Tuesday. It was easily one of the scariest things I've dealt with.
