Thank you very much! I don't know if I really love Sing, or if I'm channelling all my angst at him because I don't think I'm emotionally equipped to deal with Ash's death. (bleh, that sounds like what might be Eiji's justification to be close to Sing, ow).
You have no idea how much I seriously needed some BF fanfiction right now. Thank you so much!
This is beautiful. ♥ It's painful and raw and so very real. And Sing is so sensitive and so gentle, there's no way he could handle this without being scarred, and yet he'd die before he'd show Eiji how much it hurts. Argh! You did an amazing job here!
Oh wow, to get this comment from as prolific and oft-recced writer as you, I'm so flattered and kind of speechless, haha. Thank you thank you! I think you're a very perceptive reader (so obviously a writer!) to have picked on the things I (hurriedly and crudely) tried to hint at, I'm really touched :,-)
Oh my god. I deeply moved by how Sing tries so hard to redeem himself by trying to become Ash. It still pains me. Everything remind me of Ash. Even chewing gum! The gum that he some how got before moving to the state pen.../sob/
Thank you! Yes, I agree, Sing tries so hard. I can't figure out if it's mostly hero-worship of Ash or his feelings (guilt/fondness?) of Eiji - I was especially intrigued by that scene in Garden of Light where Sing pushes Eiji against the wall. Who is he really doing it for?

But beautifully done in those sparing little notes.
