I'm so excited!! Some of our best friends are moving here! I knew that they were coming and I wasn't sure when but I got a phone call today from Shauna and they will be here this weekend. I moved after college- as did most of my friends from college, I would love to live near them again! Congrats.

All of my close friends live in different states from one another. This will be first time living in the states that I have good friends close by other than when I was in HS or college.

Hey there, my name is Casey. I found your profile through a friend of mine on here. I saw that you were living in Fort Riley or Missouri? I couldn't figure out which one but my husband is in the Air Force and recently did CST down at Camp Funston in Fort Riley. He deployed within the last few days to Afghanistan for six months (he's deployed with the Army) and I saw your entry about Wamego! When Nathan (my husband) was in Kansas for training, I often came out to see him on the weekends and we always stayed at the Super 8 in Wamego! I have to say, the local resturant there called Cream Cup is pretty damn good! We're stationed at Peterson AFB, Colorado which is a 7 hour drive to Riley, lol. (I've done it so many times to know that already). Anyway, what I wanted to ask is if I could add you?

I live in Wamego but I am from Missouri originally. St Louis area is where most of family lives. Hardly anybody knows where Wamego is, I was on post the otherday and someone asked where I lived and they didn't know where it was.

Deployments are tough 2 months ago my husband Stephan deployed to Iraq for 12 months. I would kill have him back in 6, but I have 5 months to go before R&R. So that's not so bad.

Feel free to add me I always welcome more friends especially ones who know what it feels like to be going though all of this.
