I know how you feel about this thing...it becomes a lifeline of sorts. I miss the eighties too...in a way. I miss them until I think about the tight jeans I wore and how much I hated conditioning and waiting for my hair to dry(it was all one length down to my back)...LOL

I also realize I have made so very good friends on here...whether it be LJ or just online in general which is great and plus I am able to keep up with friends who have moved away without the long distance bills piling up. Yes its an addiction but hey, better than heroin at least

Of course there are pros and cons to it, but I miss when life was a lot more simple. Shit, I'd give anything to morph back into the 80's. Not sure if I'd go back to the jelly bracelets, hoop earrings, and Aqua Net though...
