Honestly brother, in order to properly appreciate, and in turn be ashamed of, the whole 80's experience, you really need to check out the whole Hughes catalogue. On the plus side, it will really help you hate jocks, preps and all sorts of other clique-related stereotypes that have sorta fallen off a bit in the ensuing decades. And its fun to make fun of other people, they like it. No really, they said so.

I figure that since I not only grew up in the Chicago 'burbs, but went to the sister school of the one that the Breakfast Club was shot in, I can legally bow out of seeing all the angstful "even loser nerds end up going on dates with hotties" Hughes flicks.
