You could go and split hair by asking how dead? Brain dead or dead in the sense of 'gone to meet its make'r or just clinically dead?

The next step after being dead would be either smoke and ashes or decomposed.

deader...i dont think that's a word!!. I think it's like beautifuller "Im beautifuller than you!!", I thinks it's "I'm more beautiful than you", therefor...."I'm more dead than you"
