wow. Yeah, I totally didn't think you were going to be commuting!! Honey, that's rediculous! Look for an apartment with another nursing student! Your studies are so incredibly hard the first year it took a miracle for me to keep my head above the water. I lived on caffeine and popcorn because it was cheap and all I could afford. I studied 12 hours a day 5 days a week and slept the other 2 days. You really have no chance if you are going to be doing that commute. You are smart and need some sort of break! Sorry about the accident!!!!!! That sucks, I totally completely know how you feel, nursing school is HELLA overwhelming. If you EVER EVER EVER have ANY questions, how to write care plans, tips for studying, etc, let me know. I want to knwo all about it. What you are learning, books, what papers you have to write, I am here for you and I have been there done that so you always have me as a shoulder to cry on or just whatever! Let me know! I expect to hear from you! I LOVE YOU feel better!
haha..the commute is quite ridiculous!!! But I am getting used to it kinda..but I think you're right that I need to live down here or else I'm going to have trouble in my classes or at least I should quit work at the very least..it's way too much!!! did you work your first year? I think I'm getting a dorm here, I'm on a waitlist and I should know by the end of the week..I can't wait I totally need a break..Why is this year so hard? It's insane, I feel like giving up already..but I know it'll all be worth it.
I'm so glad I can turn to you when I need you..and I think I'm definitely going to!!! Thanks for caring so much, what is your email address btw?
Shit, woman! I didn't know you were WORKING as well!! No WAY did I work my first year. It's so difficult because it's a whole new language for you. All the stuff you are learning now is routine for me. How to take BPs, Start IVs, write careplans, do Nursing Diagnoses, and even assess patients--that's all easy for me now. You get better at writing papers and taking exams, all with practice. But in the beginning everything is so foreign. It will be worth it. I had no life my first year and it really took a toll on me, but I appreciate it all now!
that's awesome! You're going to be a great nurse. How did you study for exams? I am totally clueless..like my teachers do powerpoints, give us the powerpoints and we can take notes during class..but the book also has tons of info. I tried to make flashcards but that is way too time consuming..I'm kind of at a loss of how to do this studying thing.
