1. I have less than 2 months here. I am falling in love with this place. There's just so much to see here, and I really wish I could come back next semester or next summer. But alas, life goes on. Plus, I am in love with all the wonderful people here.. there's just something about people that reassures me everytime that I want to be a doctor

Don't worry Jenny, you may have gloomy weather in Beijing, but you're not missing much here. I think this is the wettest October we've ever had. It just doesn't stop raining!

Missing Beijing

I am falling in love with this place. There's just so much to see here, and I really wish I could come back next semester or next summer...It saddens me that I will soon leave this place.

Yes, during this time of year, I feel a kind of homesickness for Beijing because I lived there for three years. I miss going to a restaurant in the winter to eat jiaozi, noodles, or, more typical in winter, hotpot. But it's mainly the people I miss, my students in their classrooms studying in the evening or people I'd pass by while going to and from the outdoor market.

But that was in the early to mid-90s, and so much has changed.
