hey there! i've been a part of lj for a few years now and think that i'm going to start putting my feelers out to actually meet some peeps. i love the idea of this knitting club. doing any more? i live in chula vista, but will trek up to la jolla sometime if i'm invited. ^_^

we are thinking of meeting at all kinds of places around town, so chula vista might not be as bad as you think! i'm so glad to hear that you'd trek so far to join us!!! the group has been growing... knitting is seriously an epidemic, i've concluded. i'm from north county (rancho penasquitos) so it would be no bother for me to meet somewhere north sometimes too. i went to this christian coffeeshop one time in escondido. it wasn't too packed (so who knows if it's still there!) but seeing as our groups growing, it would probably be a nice place to meet sometimes. but the idea right now is that we'll kinda of be a traveling club-circus. lol!
