Someone made a secret that was posted at ontd_pinto about how they read all this bad fic and send it around to their buddies to have a good laugh. Guess who's fic was used an example of the so-bad-it's laughable writing

I didn't look too closely at the writing so didn't know this until just now. That person is very obviously horrible and I know it doesn't help after the fact but for every nasty person like that there are dozens who have loved your fic, myself included. So please take no notice.

Btw I feel compelled to say that I hope you didn't read one of my comments the wrong way - it was very much meant sarcastically but I didn't make that clear and it may have seemed like I was defending that horrible person.

Jen, even though I haven't kept up with your Pinto fic (I *do* like the boys and I *did* follow your writings in that fandom initially - I still have to admit that it's just not *my* fandom...), I can still say one thing with utter certainty: If those persons say you wrote bad fic, they don't have the foggiest what they are talking about. I haven't read one thing you wrote (and I read *a lot* of your stuff) that wasn't at least very, very good (if not better), and I can only say that those persons wouldn't know good writing if it bit them in the ass.
