i don't really write on here anymore. i'm not sure why. there tends to be little to update on these days except subtle changes in my psyche. but i'll see how i'll go

I can completely empathise! I struggle with having to justify to traumatised, grieving, impoverished, immobile and elderly people that they have to pay their ambulance bill. Everyone at my work - ambos, administrators, EVERYONE pretty much agrees it should be a free service...or at least co-operatively run.
But to quote a friend, "wanting to eat is not selling out."
And the public service is a much nicer place to work than anywhere else, truly! We all have to sell our souls in some way, I think this is a fair compromise.
i think we talked about this when i was still in Sydney ... unfortunately life isn't black and white, but rather neither ... all shades of gray.

I had lunch with Mark, the director of the BU Sydney program yesterday. If I get a positive response from UNSW he might be able to help me out a bit when I'm there... I hate waiting.
On other news, girls are soooo frustratingly confusing.
