Well, its finally happened: mr.m and i had our ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY! anyone who knows me knows this is a huge deal, because i have never been with anyone for more than 3 months. we had a very nice evening. dinner at saint emilion's (we were by FAR the youngest people in there...they kept asking us if this was a special occasion. mr.m got mushy

oooh - i liked saint emilion's. only been there once, with the in-laws... very true about the age thing. i had never seen the butter kept in a little dish like that either. very authentic French i suppose.

tonight (once again with the inlaws) we went to Lanny's - just a block or so down from saint emilion's. excellent food - very frou-frou and the crowd is younger.

his grandma is Hope - who owns Joe T's - she sent him to culinary school and he came back a big star. he's our age - he was in my class at Heights.

hey, speaking of bride things - did k8 get those cds i burned to ya'? It's a whole crapload of songs - I was just trying to see what direction you're thinking about going for the reception (music-wise).

Right now I'm leaning towards an 80s/90s-Grosse Point Blank vibe with a few songs that will be recent at the time sprinkled in - but I'm really just throwing shit at the wall and seeing if anything sticks :)

Gimme a holla' and let me know what you'd like and i can continue throw together "test-mixes" for you to pick and choose tunes from.

When I get some more free time, I'll throw some more cd's together then - later on - we can get together and decide wich songs to keep, throw out, add, etc. Incidentally, the reason why there isn't much modern stuff is it prolly makesmore sense to wait until December to choose the recent tracks.
