“Haldir should have worn a helmet,” Orlando said, pushing a dripping strand of Craig’s wig out of his face.
“Legolas didn’t wear a helmet,” Craig countered, twisting the ends of his cloak to try to wring out enough water to keep that from dripping too. “And he ended up with perfectly placed smudges of dirt that just happen to enhance his cheekbones.”
“I guess some elves just have all the luck,” Orlando smirked.
“Then I guess it’s a good thing that I’ll be human again in two more hours,” Craig said, glancing around to make sure no one was watching before giving Orlando’s bottom a quick pinch. “Then I’ll be the one getting lucky.”
